Troll Race - Stay away from the Voodoo!

Story

Over 15,000 years ago, The Eastern Kingdom and Kalimdor, were one. The Trolls were the ones that ruled the most of it. The first Troll tribe, known as the Zandalarians, had many other Troll tribes originate from them. Many Trolls that belonged to the Zandalar tribe were knowledgeable creatures and wanted to improve their knowledge, economy and way of living. However, on the other hand, there were Trolls that hungered for conquest and adventure. Some of the more adventurous Trolls went on journeys across Azeroth and several years later two new Troll empires emerged; The Gurubashi tribe in the southeast jungles, and the Amani empire which could be found in the central northern part of Kalimdor.

There were also smaller groups of Trolls that settled throughout Kalimdor, and one particular group of Trolls settled in the far north, in a region called Zul’drak, on the northern continent. The Troll’s loyalty and respect for the Zandalarians, the ancient tribe, always remained.

The first big enemies of the Trolls were the insects known as the Aqir. The Trolls managed to win the war against the Aqir. These insects can still be found in mainly the southern part of Kalimdor, where they still have a stronghold called Ahn’Qiraj and on the continent of Northrend where they can be found in the city of Azjol-Nerub. With the threat of the Aqir gone, the Trolls were once more in peace and didn’t have any noteworthy enemies until one day the Kaldorei, protectors of the Well of Eternity, better known as the Night Elves, came from their Island, Teldrassil, and set foot on the mainland of Azeroth.

Strengthened by the magical powers of the Well, they spread throughout Kalimdor with lightning speed. The Trolls were stunned by the powers of the Night Elves and made big losses. At some point the Burning Legion took notice of the great amount of magic power that was being used on Azeroth and came down on the world, burning most of the Night Elves civilization.

After many years, wars, and the rise of the Orcs it came to a point that the Orc leader, Thrall, wanted to make a new Horde. Together with a small group of Orcs he had set sail to Kalimdor. A big storm approached and the ships had to hide in a coven. This is where they were warmly greeted by the leader of the Darkspear Tribe: Sen’jin. They got attacked by Murlocs, Sen’jin got sacrificed by the Murlocs by the time Thrall fought his way to him. Sen’jin told his tribe, the faction now known as the Darkspear Tribe, to go with Thrall. And so it became that the Horde had its first ally. Led by Vol’jin, son of Sen’jin, they settled on the Echo Isles, not far from Orgrimmar, the capital of the Orcs. Due to an attack from ships made by the Humans they had to flee to the mainland of Durotar where they can be found today.

Classes

If you decide to play a Troll you can choose from the following classes:

Racial Advantages

As a Troll, you get a 5% damage bonus vs. Beasts. The Trolls are known to be capable to regenerate. This allows them to Regenerate 10% more health then other classes and 10% regeneration will even continue while in combat. They are specialized in using a bow and throwing weapons, and this increases their chance to critically hit with these by 1%. Da Voodoo Shuffle allows them to have reduced movement impairing effects.

Probably the best Troll skill is Berserking, which allows them to go in a Berserk, increasing attack and cast speed by 10-30%, depending on the amount of health they have at that moment (less health = faster attack speed).
