Orc race - It's not easy being green!

Story

The Orcs lived in the grassland of Nagrand, on the planet Draenor, well known as the Outlands, for many years. While in peace with the Draenei, waging occasional wars with the Ogres, they were living in a noble community with shamanistic beliefs. The Draenei were the ones that grabbed the attention from the Burning Legion. The Demon Lord Kil’Jaeden, after reports of his scouts, found out about the Orcs that were living on Draenor as well. The Demon Lord played a game with the Orc’s most respected Shaman: Ner’zhul. He made Ner’zhul believe that the Draenei were planning attacks on the Orcs and that the Orcs should arm themselves and go to war against the Draenei. In exchange, the Demon Lord offered them extra power, which soon seemed to be a curse, referred to as the Blood Curse.

With their new thirst for blood, the Orcs crushed most of the Draenei, and many other species on Draenor. The elements weren’t in favor of the Orcs however, and being a shamanistic race, this made the Orcs turn to Ner’zhul. After disposing of Ner’zhul, the Orcs, led by Gul’dan, scattered across the Outlands, destroying every life form they saw, and eventually even wars between some Orc clans appeared.

Gul’dan, a Warlock, learned a few tricks from Kil’Jaedan, the Demon Lord. He passed some of his new knowledge on to the other Orc Warlocks, those that managed to master new skills, could enter in the Shadow Council, those that could not, got butchered. There was one night, when all the members of the Shadow Council, including Gul’dan received a vision from Medihv. The world of Azeroth was shown in the visions, and even though Medihvs intentions were unknown, they decided to participate if he could find a way to get the Orcs to Azeroth. After not hearing from Medihv for several weeks, a rift appeared. The Warlocks made the rift bigger and even though the first scouts that went through had gone mad or disappeared, the rift, known as the Dark Portal, was obviously a gateway to Azeroth.

Wars were fought between The Horde and the Alliance upon arrival and many years after, leading to a defeat for the Horde. The Horde was placed in internment camps. Thrall, son of Durotan, managed to escape from one of the camps and pulled it off to save some of his brethren. After paying a visit to Drek’Thar, a wise Shaman who taught him about the past, his father, recent times, shamanism and what should be done, he led his orcs across the ocean towards Kalimdor. The ocean was stormy and they had to hide in a coven, where they met a group of Trolls known as the Darkspear Tribe, they saved the Darkspear Tribe from a Murloc attack and the Trolls swore allegiance.

Classes

The Orcs built a stronghold called Orgrimmar, and Thrall named the region Durotar, after his father Durotan. If you want to play an Orc your main faction will be Orgrimmar and you can play the following classes:

Racial Abilities - Advantages

The Orcs have their Expertise with Axes improved, both single & 2 handed, which gives a bonus of +5 to your current skill. They also have the Hardened racial ability, meaning that Stun effects have their duration shortened by 15%. The Command ability is a passive one as well, and it allows the pets of Hunters, as well as Death Knights and Warlocks to do 5% more damage at all times.

Blood Fury, which has a 2 minute cooldown, can be activated to increase their attack power and/or spell power for 15 seconds. This works well when teamed up with other Class enhancements & a macro can soon boost your DPS by firing off both the Racial & Class enhancements.
